“I was very happy to spend that day painting with my Parisian friends Marko93, Popof and Da Cruz. This was my second trip to Paris, and it’s always a great pleasure to create things with them. The location is incredible, enormous – you really feel free to paint in there. It was very hot that day, and boatloads of tourists were sailing past on the canal, all watching me paint. I was in such a good mood that I called out “Bonjour” to them, and they all greeted me in return. (Laughs)”

Bruno Big

Born in 1980, Bruno Big lives and works in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. After training there as an advertising creative and an engraver, in 2006 he moved to Barcelona, where he studied at the University of Barcelona Faculty of Fine Arts while also perfecting his graffiti style. A multi-talented artist, he then returned to Rio where, even in the midst of a thriving street art scene, he soon made a name for himself as a street artist while also exhibiting in galleries – all this alongside his continuing work in advertising. Bruno is an explorer, forever seeking out new ways to create. At present, he chooses to dedicate more of his time to painting.
